Soil Engineering transfers to the Bachy Soletanche Group

Soil Engineering, the specialist site investigation and grouting division of VINCI Construction UK Limited, is to be transferred in April to the ownership of VINCI’s Soletanche Freyssinet UK geotechnical arm; Bachy Soletanche Group.

The services provided by Soil Engineering complement the specialist civil engineering and foundation activities of the Bachy Soletanche Group. Bachy Soletanche is a specialist in all aspects of modern geotechnics and foundation design, including LDA piling, CFA piling, restricted access mini piling, diaphragm walls, tunnelling and grouting.

Established in 1963, Soil Engineering operates throughout the UK, employing over 150 staff, with an annual turnover of around £15million. Employing largely ‘in house’ resources, the company has in recent years provided its services on many of the UK’s major infrastructure projects including CrossRail, Thameslink, Tideway Tunnel and the M74.

As a member of the Bachy Soletanche Group, Soil Engineering can deliver its professional services and flexible approach whilst being able to rely on the support of a worldwide leader in ground engineering.

Soil Engineering will operate as a new limited Company, Soil Engineering Geoservices Limited, under the ownership of the Bachy Soletanche Group.
