Soil Engineering Maintain Achilles Uvdb Accreditation

Soil Engineering Geoservices is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed the Achilles UVDB Verify Audit for Category B2 Management System Evaluation.

Achilles operates the UVDB Utilities Vendor Data Base ‘Supplier Management Service’ on behalf of the UK Major Utility Organisations including power operators & developers and water companies.

Organisations purchasing through Achilles are able to secure specific services via this streamlined and lower risk pre-qualified procurement process. Utility organisations in the UK are increasingly using services like Achilles to demonstrate best value for money and to expedite their procurement process. Achilles currently has over 1,500 users from over 60 purchasing organisation in the utility supply chain.

As an established provider of geotechnical ground investigation and drilling & grouting services to the utilities sector it is important for us to maintain our UVDB Accreditation to continue our history of delivering solutions to the utility sector and to develop new opportunities with organisations using the UVDB service.

The audit was carried out over two days verifying our business management system, processes and procedures both in the office and on site covering Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.

Our scores were 84% for office and 100% for site based activities.

Verification of our site systems took place at our Imphal Barracks Site, York.
