Soil Engineering Geoservices support social inclusion through the VINCI UK Foundation

Amongst the £238,000 in grants provided in 2025 by our group charitable wing, the VINCI UK Foundation, is a successful application championed by Soil Engineering Geoservices.

At the heart of the VINCI Group’s ethos is a commitment to improving everyday life and mobility for all. This dedication goes beyond the infrastructure and facilities we design, build and maintain. The VINCI UK Foundation aims to drive social progress – supporting charitable initiatives that create opportunities in training, employment, housing, mobility, and leisure.

In the UK and Republic of Ireland, VINCI businesses, including Soletanche Bachy (including Soil Engineeirng Geoservices), Freyssinet, VINCI Concessions, VINCI Energies UK & RoI, VINCI Construction UK, VINCI Facilities, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, Belfast International Airport,  Gatwick Airport, Ringway, Taylor Woodrow, and NUVIA UK – are proud contributors to this collective effort.

A broad spectrum of support

2025 marks another significant year for the VINCI UK Foundation, with £238,000 in grants awarded to 41 not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Ireland. These grants, which range from £3,000 to £10,000 are more than just numbers; they are vital investments that will upgrade transport, supply equipment, and improve facilities. In addition, each initiative is sponsored by at least one VINCI employee, who commits their time and expertise over a 12-month period – bringing each project to life through personal involvement.

Our selected charity

Soil Engineering Geoservices will this year be supporting Shift.ms, a Leeds-based organisation providing nationwide support to people with multiple sclerosis. Maintaining an accessible online community of peer support, information and resources, Shift.ms improve social inclusion through life adaptation and motional support, with 99% of their volunteers living with MS themselves. Our funding will help the development of an expanded support platform and new resources to deliver even greater impact.
