Double Framework Success with The Coal Authority

Soil Engineering, the leading multidisciplinary geotechnical contractor, is delighted to receive confirmation of awards to The Coal Authority’s Frameworks for both Ground Investigation and Ground Stabilisation by Drilling and Grouting.

By receiving these awards, we continue our supply chain relationship with The Coal Authority well into a second decade.  These awards cover a total of twenty work packages spanning the entire UK coalfield.

Securing a position on all five available geographical lots under the Ground Investigation Works Framework exploits Soil Engineering’s established national coverage for high quality ground investigation works and experienced team across all three offices.

The further award of a place on all fifteen packages on the Coal Authority’s Ground Stabilisation by Drilling and Grouting Framework highlights Soil Engineering’s multidisciplinary capabilities.

Delivering high quality workmanship and a reliable service in the most challenging contexts, our teams have previously undertaken headline grabbing projects under this framework including the investigation and stabilisation of the 300m deep shaft at Mitchell Street and shallow workings beneath housing in Saltcoats.

Managing Director, Tristan Llewellyn writes “We’re delighted to continue our association with The Coal Authority and look forward to continuing to provide high quality services and successful projects in the coming years.  Having completed over 150 projects in the last decade, we look forward to many more collaborative successes in the future.”
